Since we founded The Southern Creative Catalyst we have been convinced that The Central South is home to a nationally significant creative economy. Now we have the evidence.
For the past six months, the Southern Creative Catalyst, the RSA, the Creative Industries Policy and Evidence Centre and the University of Southampton have partnered to research the creative economy of the Central South: who’s here, what they do, and what it would take to help them grow.
This event is where we share what we found, and what we think should happen next.
We will be presenting the research from 3.30pm – 5.30pm. You are welcome to stay until 7pm for networking and some lightweight workshopping!
Creative business leaders, practitioners and freelancers. Councils, universities and colleges, funders and national sector bodies. Anyone with a stake in growing the creative economy in the South.
Many of you gave us your time over the Summer to make this research possible. Come and see what it became.
Tickets are free, but registration is essential and places are limited.
If you’re in the business of creativity in the Central South, this is the one not to miss. Book now, and bring a colleague (they’ll need their own ticket).
